Grand Hyatt Denver Ranked in the Top 100 Meeting Hotels in the United States

Grand Hyatt DenverGrand Hyatt Denver places 28th out of 200,000 featured venues by CVent Supplier Network, the world’s largest meetings and event management technology company.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) May 07, 2012

Grand Hyatt Denver has been named by Cvent, the world’s largest meetings and event management technology company, as one of the “Top 100 Meeting Hotels in the United States”. Cvent Supplier Network, a free online marketplace, connects meeting planners and event planners with over 200,000 featured venues and 80,000 hotels.

The downtown Denver, Colorado luxury hotel ranked 28th of the Top 100 based on a set of qualifying criteria, some of which includes:

  • The number of electronic request-for-proposals (RFPs) the property received from CVent in 2011
  • The staff response time compared to other venues in the market
  • The number of meeting rooms available and the total square footage of meeting space offered
  • The amount of business awarded in 2011 by meeting planners throughout the CVent Supplier Network.

“We value the meeting planner and understand the demands of their job. Our goal is to help them achieve their goals. This important award speaks to the commitment of our staff in delivering precisely what the delegation and the planner need. We are very proud to have been recognized by Cvent, such a prestigious organization in the hospitality industry,” commented Greg Leonard, Grand Hyatt Denver general manager.

This is the second meeting planner award for Grand Hyatt Denver in the last month. Recently, Colorado Meetings and Events Magazine Editor’s Pick acknowledged Grand Hyatt Denver for its “Sweet Suites for Meeting and Sleeping”. All Grand Hyatt Denver premier and presidential suites were completely renovated in 2008, immediately prior to the Democratic National Convention.

The 2011 Networking Event Sponsors!

Here are the 2011 Sponsors for the Site Chicago Annual Networking Event and Fundraiser.

Room 1520 – Home to the 2011 Site Chicago Silent Auction

This year’s networking and silent auction is going to be an event to behold and the entire Site Chicago event team is excited at how many industry friends will be joining us!

We will be at Room 1520 located in the West Loop, a brand new event venue on Chicago’s near west side.

This venue is both stark and stunning and will certainly knock your socks off. When I first toured the venue a few months ago, a commercial had just finished shooting and they were putting the room back together for another event that was scheduled to start that evening. Not bad, having back to back events for any venue is tough in this economy and shows that they are moving and shaking and making an impact.

One of the things that I am most excited about is accessibility. Room 1520 is a short cab ride from downtown, a quick EL ride and driving is even an option with plenty of on street parking.

Have a look at what the Room 1520 website has to say:

Room 1520 is located in the heart of the artistic West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. The venue is a restored, historical loft building with high ceilings, polished cement floors, portrait windows, exposed brick, a private street entrance and white marble restrooms.

Renovated specifically as a premier loft venue and adorned with high-end finishing touches throughout, the Aérée Loft inside Room 1520 is different from other loft venues in the city. It is elegant, airy, bright and accented by 17 Italian crystal chandeliers and an artisan staircase in the grand entrance. The space is an urban blank canvas waiting to be painted with your event.

In just a short time, Room 1520 has developed a glowing reputation in both the corporate and social events industry.
